Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Remote) – Salinda Health

Salinda Health is a small and growing psychiatry practice providing high-quality care to adults, with a strong focus on LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse clients. Affirming, thoughtful care for this population is a central part of our mission.

Salinda Health currently provides care primarily via telehealth. Our practice model may evolve over time in response to regulatory requirements and practice needs.

Position
Role: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Schedule: Full or Part-time
Location: Remote at present; practice model may evolve over time
Compensation: Competitive pay; 1099 contractor position or employee
Support: Ongoing supervision, consultation, and regular case discussion

What We’re Looking For

  • Active license in New York with DEA registration

  • Strong interest in and commitment to caring for LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse patients

  • Clinical competence in providing affirming, respectful, evidence-based psychiatric care

  • High integrity, conscientiousness, warmth, and a collaborative, growth-oriented style

What You’ll Do

  • Complete psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive care, with potential opportunities to provide therapy

  • Provide thoughtful, affirming care to a patient population that includes many LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse adults

  • Collaborate with a small team that values autonomy, learning, and clinical excellence

  • Coordinate care with outside therapists and other clinicians when appropriate

  • Complete documentation in a timely manner
